These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the MEER AN VEER website (www.meeranveer.com).

Article 1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, the customer accepts these General Terms and Conditions in full. These are the only terms applicable to the contract entered into between MEER AN VEER (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the customer.

Article 2. Orders and Contract Formation

The Website displays products for sale, but this does not constitute a legally binding offer. A contract is concluded only once the order is confirmed by MEER AN VEER after payment has been received. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including limited availability, errors in product or pricing information, or payment issues.

Article 3. Obligations of the Parties

3.1 MEER AN VEER

Once an order has been accepted and paid for, MEER AN VEER undertakes to deliver the purchased products to the delivery address provided by the customer.

If an item is temporarily out of stock, the customer may opt to wait for availability or request a refund.

We strive to dispatch products within the delivery time indicated on the Website, though these remain estimates.

3.2 The Customer

The customer is responsible for providing a correct delivery address where parcels can be received during business hours.

The customer agrees to pay the total purchase price as indicated at checkout, including shipping costs.

For deliveries outside the EU, the customer is responsible for any applicable customs duties, VAT, or import taxes in their own country.

Article 4. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in euros (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Any prices shown in other currencies are for reference only.

Payment must be made through the methods offered on the Website at the time of ordering.

An invoice will be sent by email after the order is confirmed.

Article 5. Shipping and Delivery

Products are shipped to the delivery address provided at checkout.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination and chosen shipping method. While we strive to meet these estimates, delays may occur beyond our control.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will leave instructions for collection or re-delivery. MEER AN VEER is not liable for deterioration or loss of products due to late collection.

Article 6. Customs and Import Duties

Customers outside the EU may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival of their order. These charges are beyond our control and must be paid by the customer. Customers are responsible for checking local import regulations before placing an order.

Article 7. Transfer of Risk

Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified address.

Article 8. Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted within 28 days of delivery, except for bespoke or custom-made items, which are non-returnable unless faulty.

Items must be unused, in original condition, and packaged securely.

The cost of returning products is the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

MEER AN VEER cannot be held liable for returns lost or damaged in transit; we recommend using a tracked shipping method.

Once received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method.

Article 9. Quality and Guarantee

All products are handmade and unique. Slight variations in colour, size, or design are normal and part of the character of the item, not defects.

If an item is faulty or does not match the description, please contact us in writing within 14 days of receipt with details and photographs.

Article 10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, designs, photographs, texts, and other materials on the Website are the property of MEER AN VEER or its licensors. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

Article 11. Privacy

MEER AN VEER respects your privacy. Personal information provided to us is used solely for processing orders and improving our services. Please see our separate Privacy Policy for details.

Article 12. Force Majeure

MEER AN VEER is not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, transport disruptions, natural disasters, or import/export restrictions.

Article 13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be brought before the competent courts in the Netherlands.
