Varga, derived from the Sanskrit word for division or form, reflects the calm grid-like composition woven throughout the rug. The wool-rich weave adds softness, warmth, and natural texture.

The bands run across the width rather than the length. They vary in width and are offset — the bands on one half of the rug do not line up with the bands on the other. All three colours are similar in depth, so the contrast between them is low.
