A handwoven jute flatweave in dusty pink, with no pattern.
Saad means plain, and gulabi means pink. With nothing woven into the surface, the texture of the jute is what you see: a visible weave, slightly ridged, with the strands of the fibre reading individually up close. Jute has a warm brown cast of its own, which pulls the pink towards a dusty, earthy tone rather than leaving it clean and bright, and the colour shifts slightly from one part of the rug to another.
The rug feels firm and textured underfoot.
Material: 90% jute, 10% cotton
