A handwoven jute flatweave in muted blue, with no pattern.
Saad means plain, and neel means blue. With nothing woven into the surface, the texture of the jute is what you see: a visible weave, slightly ridged, with the strands of the fibre reading individually up close. Colour variation shows more on a plain rug than a patterned one — jute is coarse and takes dye unevenly, so the blue shifts slightly from one part of the rug to another.
The rug feels firm and textured underfoot.
