A handwoven flatweave runner in deep brown with a lighter panel and a single blue line.
Rekha means line and ek means one. There is one blue line in the runner, and everything else is brown and the lighter panel that runs alongside it. The brown is not one flat colour: hand-spun wool takes dye unevenly, so the tone shifts slightly from one band of weaving to the next. Weavers call this abrash.
Material: 80% wool, 20% cotton
Technique: Handwoven flatweave, reversible
Origin: India
Suitable for: Living room, dining area, hallway
Care: Vacuum weekly with suction only, spot clean with cool water
Underlay: Recommended on hard floors
Sizes not currently in stock can be woven to order — allow 8 to 10 weeks.
Made in small batches by artisan weavers in India. Because each runner is handmade, slight variations in size (approximately ±5 cm), tone and weave will occur.
